Helena Greene is exhibiting paintings from 17 April to 18 June 2013, the private view will be held on 30 April 2013 from 5 – 8 pm.
Exhibition opening times are Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm
Helena Greene studied fine art at Goldsmiths College of Art in the early 1970s. She has taught art in the Adult education sector and on the foundation course at Cambridge Region College. Throughout her time teaching she has had regular exhibitions of her own work.
This exhibition at the Alison Richard building is showing a selection of works on canvas that have been painted over the last 15years. The earlier work is painted in the countryside in Derbyshire. The later work is more abstract. All the work is in oil on canvass and is a response to landscape and a sense of place.
